Default Extended Warranty worth it?

I currently have a 2004 A4 1.8t,6spd, sport, prem, and cold pkgs. I bought it in August of 03 and have just hit 43000 miles. Only a few short months left under warranty...is it worth the extra 2000+ for the extended plan Audi offers? I have also started to put work into her so my thoughts about the warranty issues are iffy.

I've heard a lot of nightmares about Audis, this is my first and have never had a better car!

Default i will never own or drive this audi without a warranty

i have had soooo many seemingly minor, yet expensive issues with my car that i refuse to keep it once the warranty is up...currently my car is the dealership for the 4th time this year

Default the problem i have found is that i don't like any other cars on the road (in my price range)

leaves me seeking an extended warranty for some piece of mind atleast

Default i agree, not too many attractive cars right now

the g35's power is nice, but the car is unattractive.. the TL looks nice and power is nice, but its FWD and i need an AWD in my line of work and the murano is nice, but small for an SUV...i also looked at the 9-3 the 9-5 and the c class..they just feel cheap
