Default Factory Remote Start Option

So I am looking through a car mag and I see an add for this Chevy "Malibu Maxx". At the bottom it states that it has remote start standard with the LT trim. I am happy about this because for years I have been wanting a factory remote start system! I want something that is fully integrated into the factory key-fob and is up to par with the rest of the vehicles electronics (have heard horror stories about aftermarket systems).

Now if only Audi will get on the bandwagon!

Speaking of which, has anyone heard if Audi is going to be offering a BlueTooth cellphone interface like what the new Acura TL has? A friend of mine has this and loves it. I'm still waiting for Audi DVD based NAV too!

Default Yup... but I'll belive it when I see it :-)

I was shocked in 2001 when a coworker bought an A8L and it was still using CDs for the NAV system :-( Audi has taken way to long to catch up on this one.

That is pure rumor and is not confirmed.

Default I saw the article

audizine is down now, but it was on their homepage. They showed the interior of the A3 with the nice screen in the centre console with maps and DVD based.

Default I am sure with the right amount of money, anything can be ported

I assume that they use the same CAN-BUS that is currently in our cars...this is pure conjecture on my part though.

Default It's too risky with manual transmissions. I've seen professional installers cars go hopping down the

street into other cars and trees and so on. Personally I always leave mine in neutral, but still...

That's the A3, doesn't mean it's coming to the A4 until we see it in a NA A4.
