Default false reading -burn out LH turn signal, rear brake light.

I drive a 2002 A4. For some reason the LH turn signal, parking light and LH brake light work and then do not work giving me a warning that the light is out on the display. The lights are fine, recently replaced but problem persists. Problem started when it was -10C, not that I believe its weather related.
Any idea as to what might be going on?

Default I get this sometimes too. It usually goes away after a day or so but it's annoying

Recently I got a warning light for both front and rear right signal & parking lights. Turned out only the rear parking light was out. When I replaced it, all the warning lights went away. I have a friend who has a 2002 and he has the same issues.

Default Mine's been doing that for a while too....

bulb out warning would come on, and then next time I turned the car on it would be gone, and stay gone for a few days, and then repeat...

Default Same with my 02

I did pull one of the lights and noticed that at some point there was a short. The plastic surrounding the contacts was burned and slightly melted. I replaced the bulb and no problems. Then a few weeks later same thing happened again. I check the bulbs and everything was fine.

its the gremlins.

Default Check the front turn signal socket....

I had the same problem and thats what the problem was. One of the connections on the socket was burned out.
