I prefer the spokes on #1, and I think the color will probably look better on silver. I hate the bolts/rivots around the edge of wheels, so I prefer #2 because it has less of that going on. Clearly, that doesn't bother you so judging based on the rest of the wheel, I'd go with #1.

I agree that I'm not sure how they will look on the silver. I'd try to find one up close and personal before you pull the trigger on what I know is an expensive wheel. 2 is classic, but 1 is stronger.

Criticisms in the last year by many owners. There have been reports of extreme unbalancing while driving through rain. The water accumulates inside the wheel because of its design causing it to go out of balance. In heavy rain one owner had to actually stop on the side of the highway because he thought the car was going to break up by the severe vibrations. I don't know if this applies to all their wheels.
Also numerous <b>"quality"</b> concerns have come out. Form the clear to the paint quality to even corrosion around the bolts as reported by some owners.
I've read that a lot of their clients were very dissatisfied with their customer service.
Worst of all, some car clubs are thinking or may have already banned the wheels from track events due to wheel failures causing accidents (this is a controversial subject).
On the other hand, BBS is an extremely well known wheel manufacturer that makes wheels from the el cheapo models to very expensive ones. The very expensive wheels IMHO are some of the best on the market, period. You get a very strong yet light weight wheel. BBS uses the latest technology in casting and forged wheel design. They use their racing back ground to develop better wheels.
I've had two sets of BBS RCs with are cast spun. They are very light and yet very strong wheels. Considering where I drive, not having bent one yet, says it all.
The new wheels, the RGRs and its two piece counterpart, are made in Japan and are forged with what I think are the most powerful or heavy presses in the world. These wheels are even lighter and much stronger than the RCs.
Just my $0.02.
