dunno...i keep mine in all year round, but i mtn bike so dirt/sand is a constant

Default I'm beginning to think along those lines too

planning on detailing my car roof to lowers this weekend....might pull the ole switcheroo when I do that....i'm in Baltimore btw...

Default Mine are still in, but replacing them with carpeted mats soon :))

but not until after this weekend's rain.

Default Out!! Mine were so...

encrusted with salt and sand that I couldn't get it all off. Not only that, but the smell was terrible. What does the city of Boston mix with the sand/salt? Sh*t?

Despite using mats, being very careful not to drag in crap when entering the car in snow, there was still some spillage onto the underlying carpet that will require a professional cleaning to get out.

ditto. unless they got really really bad and crusted with crap, they'll stay in.
