Default Filled power steering fluid upto the MAX mark whilst engine was cold...

I have now read power steering level should be checked whilst engine is at operating temp!

Will any damage be caused as a result of filling up fluid to max mark whilst engine is cold, i.e will the resevoir overflow?

thanks in advance

Default just get a clean pump and suck out a some

If you don't have the time to go out and buy one or you want to be cheap - just use a clean straw and plug it up with your finger and take out some fluid.
