cleared them out, gonna run her down the road for a bit and see if any of them come back, maybe this is one reason im getting 21-22 mpg tops no matter how soft i drive it? all my coilpacks seem to be originals N's guess i better get the hitachi E's just for giggles

Default Go with "R" coilpacks, ...

It's now clearly evident that hitachi "E" coils, while more reliable, cause slightly less performance. I suspect the reason is due to the different dwell angle requirements or coil primary circuit time energized causing a timing retard with the E coils. Advancing the global timing offsett may counteract that effect, but I have not confirmed or disproved that theory one way or the other yet.

Default did you run low on gas? (P1250), can you monitor when the misfires happen?

if they happen again.. totally disagree in changing the coil packs now..

Default Yes I knew the low on gas was when i initially went to buy it they had it run smooth out

I cleared the codes like i said, i drove about 30 miles and BAM CHUG CHUG CHUB BRRRR CEL flashing pulled over and by the time i had the thing was back to running like normal, so i took it straight home and jumped in the A6 for the rest of my groceries and doodling around, wonder how im going to get it to the dealer so they can warranty those coilpacks or if it is even worth my time and just order them online since it would be cheaper than having it towed the 75 miles to the dealership
