First set of BKR6Es....

i know you can use the NGK BKR6E and BKR7E's...
they are both copper plugs. I am currently using the 7E's and I'm a big fan. All copper plugs need to be changed every 5k miles or so. There is also a set of Bosch platinum plugs which are side-firing called "Platins." These only need to be replaced every 60k miles or so, but they still need to be cleaned every 5k, and they're quite expensive.

really not sure. it's easily a 10-20min job. no problem...
I did mine myself. you only need a ratchet with a 6" extension, a spark plug socket, and a torque wrench to tighten them correctly. even if you don't have that stuff, i'm sure you can find someone that did or get a friend to do it. there's a link to the DIY on a4mods.com on the right side of the page.

I went with Denso Iradiums
After changing the plugs every 10k miles or less... I decided to just go with something that last longers.
The issue that I had with changing the plugs every 10k miles is that the coil packs need to be removed every time. With our uber super-favuloso coil packs, I decided that I wanted to leave them in there as long as possible.
I don't feel any difference between these and the Copper 6Es that I was running before.

Its really easy to change them yourself. It'll take about 10-20 minutes as Stonehenge said,
if you know how to use a ratchet, you're good to go. Just need to geta 6" extension, spark plug socket and a torque wrench (can do without, I don't have one).
All you need to do is remove the coilpack, stick the extension with the spark plug socket and turn counter-clockwise to get it out. Stick the new one in, turn clockwise. You'll feel when it stops. Give it another quarter turn and that'll set it to spec torque. Replace the coilpack and good to move on to the next one.
