Default Fogging condensation issues

I've notice lately my windows get condensated very quick.. something I never had problems before even on a humid day. And now in cold temperatures it freezes and takes me longer minutes to warm up and see through the winshield. It seems like humid air is coming from the A/C? and has caused some foging and even my rear view mirror gets fogged.

I heard that turning on the A/C for a few minutes fixes this problem.. but temperatures are below 0.. so does that means turning to high temp and fan to max?

Or is this problem just normal?
Thanks!

Try washing the interior windows. It'll help a great deal.

Default Pull up your floor mats and give the carpet underneath a good vacuuming...

Water and snow/slush from your feet gets under the mats and gets trapped there. The heater while driving evaporates some of this water causing higher humidity which then condenses and freezes on the windows when the car cools off. Try leaving the mats pulled up during the day when it's parked and overnight for a few days. I bet a cup of coffee your problem disappears.

Default If you have used leather treatment like me, it puts a film on your glass...

I fought with this on other cars too. I used Eagle 1 20/20 glass cleaner, available at any auto parts store. It will remove the film, you can feel the difference, and help the fogging problem.

Default many interior cleaning products like vinyl/plastic cleaner or leather cleaners

will "off-gas" and esentially fog windows... just something to consider.

make sure you don't have the HVAC system set on recirculate....that will fog the windows.
