Dennis, how do you like the Mini?....
I am seriously considering getting one with the John Cooper Works package. I was gonna try to test drive an S model soon. I have seen the Italian Job twice and I think the car is cool! Now I know why you haven't been around!

LOVE IT! (more...)
It so much cheaper, but includes so much and it's a blast to drive! But you have to realize that it's no Audi on the interior....put together well, but cheaper materials. But hey, you have to give up something to go that cheap. Handles like a go-kart, the lack of body roll is insane. It's like driving a bull dog. Mods are cheap too. But that jcw is way overpriced. It's a dealer installed option. When your car comes in, they install the jcw kit. In houston the cost is 6k installed. You can get the same power out of aftermarket components installed for less than half that. But the jcw does comes with full warranty. Dinan is also completing their package which should be slightly cheaper than jcw and does come with a warranty. I'm not checking here too often so email me if you need any more info. d2mini@houston.rr.com

Which Quattro?
Transvers engine cars use the Haldex system, longitudinals use Torsen. Torsen is an always-engaged, purely mechanical system. Click on the link for everything you ever wanted to know...

Torsen
