I thought I had fixed the issue a couple of weeks ago when I found an open hose connection. The code came back. I cleared it again after finding nothing, and it came back yesterday.

I did more searching, and this time found a thread from 11/05 started by MRKRAD about his P0411, and then ROBKMAC's reply. Both contained details that showed which hose to look at and which small silver can to look at under the hood (there are a few).

I went under my car and felt around and sure enough, the cloth braided hose going into the secondary ait combi valve at the back of the engine is partially torn at the clamp.

So, I'll try to get to the store and buy a length of 1/4" vacuum hose to replace it tonight or tomorrow. In fact, I may buy 10 feet of the stuff and start replacing all of that braided hose everywhere. It seems like it is the weak link under the hood.
