I want to blend some paint from a newly replaced fender into the front door, and I need to get the weatherstrips off, so that I don't have to take the whole door apart. The rear view mirror is getting in the way, and the service manual ignores this and shows the same diagram for both front and rear. Is there a way to remove the front weather strips without taking the door apart, to get the mirror out of the way? Thanks!
