Default fuel filter

Replaced it today. Car has the original pump with 50,000 miles (bye, bye warranty). Strange thing is that the pump seems louder after putting the new filter in(?). We'll see.

Here's a link if anyone is interested on how to undo the hose connections.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/905136.phtml</a

Default underbody, beneath right rear passenger

The myth is that replacing the filter often will save your fuel pump (a frequent problem with the B6). Not sure if it will help, but it was easy to change.

Default probably not...

Every engine I've been in has has some sort of bypass that shunts the majority of the oil flow to the pan if the pressure gets too high, IE a blocked filter.
