seems like I'm getting that sound from the rear that has been talked about, RPM dependent. She's at 48K. Its a strange sound. Anyway, I live in NYC and am up in Boston now and the sound was constant today for an hour then went away and has been fine since. No fuel surges or anything. Poeple who have heard the sound before failure, how long did it take until the car was imobile? Could I make it back to NYC?

I drove for a couple of days with it making sound. Mine started at 48k-49k. same mileage, funny.

seems all of them go at that mileage, mine included

i haven't experienced the fuel pump failure but wish you luck with that.
