I have been looking for some help, but could not find any info one this, could anyone help Plz: -

Background:
I use my car everyday, and do about 100 miles. My car generally turns on no problems every time. But three times in the last 6 weeks, it has started without any problems, drive down the road and the fuel cuts out and the car will not start. Called the AA out, and they started it and showed me a trick to get ti going on my own, which is to get the starter motor going for about 10 seconds.

I took it to Audi to find the problem, and they say its the aux fuel pump relay used for cold start, they said the VAGCOM showed it as a intermittent problem! ok, but they wanted ?208 to fix it

So I thought if someone could tell me where the fuel pump relay is, so I could plug-in a new one?

- does anyone know where the fuel pump relay is?
- has anyone else seen this problem?

behind the storage compartment.
It is relay position ONE, on the left, in the 9 position relay carrier. It has "167" printed on it.
