As I sit here debating whether or not to trade in my car for a new Audi, I came across a BMW advertisement in last weekend's Wall Street Journal. It's for the BMW 3 series. The ad says:
"Every new BMW comes with 4 years of Full Maintenance standard, including wear and tear items.
Brake pads: $0
Brake rotors: $0
Engine belts: $0
Oil changes: $0
Wiper blades: $0
Sheduled inspection: $0"
With Audi's new "limited" full warranty, the BMW looks very attractive.

FOr example, if a 30k BMW and 30k audi are side by side, and BMW offers free maint, but raises their price to 35000, then it isn't really free.
PLay the game and compare numbers.
