My original post seems to have been lost in all the APR debate/celebration. =D So, here it goes again:
My windshield washer motor fuse (#37 in the fuse box) blew out a few days ago. This fuse is listed on the fuse box door as a 20a fuse. However, @ least one owner who has had this fuse fail has replaced it with a 25a fuse per the dealership. The dealership also mentioned that this fuse (the 20a) should be swapped out to a 25a fuse by the dealership prior to delivery to the customer per AoA.
So .... my question is .... has anyone else had this problem, and replaced the 20a fuse with a 25a fuse per the dealership? Or .... what amp fuse do you have in the #37 position in the fuse box? I'd like to know if others have had this fuse swapped out by the dealership, or if the dealership mentioned above is blowing smoke.
Anywho, if you could check your fusebox - it's the fuse in the middle of the lowest row.

Had mine repaired at the dealer yesterday, they knew nothing about AoA recommending 25A replacement
They even showed me their printout list of service bulletins for wiper/washer issues. Can anyone verify that a bulletin truly exists??

It's January 2004 but the same thing happened to my window washer!
My A4 has been great but the window washer stopped in that VERY cold period a few days ago. I checked the fuse box and, sure enough, the fuse was shot so I will replace it. Question: from reading this Thread, it isn't clear whether I should go with another 20 or go to the 25. Anyone know for sure?

I have the same problem. My fuse blows as soon as I replace it with another 20 amp. Is it ok to up it to 25 or 30 amp? I went through about 5 different 20 amps fuses from different shops and as soon as put the wiper jets on it blows again.
