FVCK!!! Coil pack on the wifes Passat just went.
She just called me as she was parking her car at school. CE light flashing and rough idle.
Even SHE knew it was a blown coil pack.

Like I said before, I knew it was going to happen.
The VW dealer said they were getting about 1 car a day with bad coil packs. Service manager told me the same thing's Audi, VW is only going to replace the ONE bad coil pack and you have to order it by VIN number. She told me it would be about two weeks till I get the car back.
Funny, my wife always leaves the house before me and as SOON as I heard the phone ring I knew what it was.
