The Neuspeed sport and race springs appear to share the same spring rates quoted to me directly as:
Front -- 450lbs
Rear -- 350lbs
They are said to be approximately 25% stiffer than the B6 A4 sport springs, which also have a stiffer spring rate in the front. It appears a rear swaybar upgrade or coilovers is the way to go for more neutral handling as opposed to stock understeer. The bilstein sport shocks should help with body roll quite a bit as stasis has stated that the bilstein shock is indeed valved more aggressively (more of a technology issue than a valving issue acutally) than the Koni's. They prefer Konis due to their better ride and the fact that they make up for the lack of performance using their own valving and stiffer springs. Cheers! Mike

the rear sway bar and just the front. And if you have adjustable shocks, to set the rear at the softest setting. Do I have this totally backwards??? You're guidance is much appreciated!

rear for our cars because most customers are looking for more neutral handling or a bit more oversteer. The H-sport was the first to come out with both F and R swawbars and HR has now followed suit. For the B6 A4 we need more spring rate in the rear to achieve neutral handling. In stock form they understeer. Indeed Statis Engineering who is probably the best Audi suspension tuner in the world is running a 700lb front and 1300lb rear kit on their motorsport car that they are racing. The track sport should run 600lb f and 1000lb r. It will not be the most road friendly kit in the world. This front to rear ratio does not hold true of all cars and varies completely from car make and manufacturer. Cheers! Mike

keep in mind it is best to set up the shocks and springs or coilovers to how you like the car to perform and only tweak with swaybars as they are not meant to carry the burden of all of the suspension tuning.

and they confirmed that they were the same. The originally had thought that the front spring rates were the same for both kits, but the rears were stiffer on the race version. Turns out that's not the case. Oh well, they are still decent spring rates and probably the better spring package out there.

however, remember, with springs that short - your shock shaft is now set far down into the shock. That's why Bilstein sport shocks have shorter shafts to accomodate lowering springs.
