Their online information states that it does fit the 2002 A4. I spoke to the salesman, who actually owns a 98 A4, and he told me that the mid year changes to the 2002's included the radio support structure (the two mounting bolts spacing/location were changed). So it does fit the early-mid year 2002's.

I just thought I would let you guys/gals know in case you are thinking of buying this nifty product. I actually just jammed it in behind the radio and it holds pretty securely, so I am happy with it for now. I haven't road tested it to see if it moves, but it has a pretty secure fit.
