Default fyi: holding your key fob to your chin or shoulder helps in reception

with locking or unlocking your car. try it sometime. somehow it uses your body as an extended antenna in some regaurds. ive always done this but a friend of mine diddnt and i guess i just figured that everyone knew.

if you dont believe me go out and try it on your car right now.

first try it at waist side then hold it to your chin. you might be suprised. =)

Default always knew about it

and even did it a few times.... not sure if it actually works or we just think it does. Cant say I ever tried from several distances to check it.

p.s. if you want to add and even nuttier piece to the puzzle... I heard it was the metal crap in your teeth fillings that helped extend the range... god, who knows....

Default i am filling free my friend and no plates in the head either.

i'll put money on it that my range is almost twice as far with it to my chin then at my chest or waist side.

Default i believe it just has to do with the height you are holding the transmitter

don't think it actually has anything to do with your chin! although i've seen people do it. its all line of sight transmission so the higher you hold the transmitter, the longer the range. that's my take anyways.
