Gas gauge reading empty after car battery died.
My car battery recently died. After charging it back up my gas gauge was reading empty when there was at least a 1/2 tank left. I then went to the gas station to fill up...now the gas gauge was read 1/2 a tank on a full tank. After about 30 min of driving the gauge slowly crept up to full.
Is this normal behavior when your battery dies?
