Default I understand, but if you're after savings (putting in 87 instead of 91), you really shouldn't...

be wasting money on mods because let's face it, modding is a huge waste of money no matter how you look at it.

Just saying. No offence meant.

Default I know people who spend $10 on coffee at Starbucks everyday...

that's up to $50 a week for designer drinks! Cutting down on ridicously priced coffee will easily save a lot of people a large chunk of change.

Default LOL! I'm paying $7.50 a Gallon here in the UK for 98!!!........

Just thought I'd try to cheer you guys up a little. We only get 95 or 97 here in England. Shell do Optimax which is the only 98 and a large supermarket chain (Tesco) have just started doing 99. I've been using Optimax from new, but might give the Tesco 99 a go. It's getting good reports.

Default Well that's Europe for ya!

BTW 98 octane gas in Europe is the same as 91 octane gas in NA.

Taken from some website:

"Different countries have some variation in what RON (Research Octane Number) is standard for gasoline, or petrol. In the UK, ordinary regular unleaded petrol is 91 RON, premium unleaded petrol is always 95 RON, and super unleaded is usually 97-98 RON. In the US, octane ratings in fuels can vary between 86-87 AKI (91-92 RON) for regular, through 89-90 (94-95) for mid-grade (European Premium), up to 90-94 (RON 95-99) for premium unleaded or E10 (Super in Europe)"

Default why don't you sell your car and get something that doesn't require premium gas?

I spend way more getting coffee than the difference between mid level and premium gas.

Your savings is extremely minimal.
