Default Additives are what make the difference

Story I was told by friend in oil/fuel business in the NYC area is that the gas is essentailly the same but the additives/cleaners make them different. Says at some refineries the gas may to to several different majors and numerous small guys (same fuel with different additives)

Default BP Gas is great, BP owns Amoco

I usually get BP or Mobil gas, sometimes switching to Sunoco

It's good. Shell is better, Mobil is worse.
