Default My Bosch mechanic says that is the only synthetic oil he will use. Heavy though...

and not a long-life oil as defined by MB 229.1, BMW LL 01 and VW 505.1. I'd probally use 5w-30 unless it was for a heavialy boosted engine.

Hmm, I'll have to go on a quest for oil some weekend.

I am using it and it is keeping things cooler. I do a change every 5k miles.

Where do you purchase it? My Autozone only had a couple qts of it.

Default Worth it. I used to be an O-T-C oil guy, now I'd probally import my own Castrol Formula R if no GC.

Won't happen, I have 50 quarts of GC stored!
autobahnfluids.com has the Pentosynth 5w-40
