I am bringing my car to get tinted(35% all around) and I wanted to remove my rear deck so the tinters can tint the whole window. I hate the way it looks when there is a cut out around the rear brake light. Does anyone have an DIY instuctions or a link to a previous post if this was recently discussed?

I got mine tinted and it looks just fine. May not be worth the hassle.

Good tint places have tools to get down behind the brake light. Ours are easier than my last car a Acura which was tough but they still got it. We have about .5 of a inch gap on ours and that is plenty of room to get the tint down behind it. If the place says they need to go around it, then I would take it somewhere else personally. Just shows they are lazy.

My tint shop had no problem tinting the rear window. No cut out and perfect!
