or better if you want to score points...it *goes* onto your permanate record. Last year I dropped a case of Grolsch DARK at my Bosch Center, my service is almost up to LeMans standards. At the dealer, I dunno if I would be comfortable offering beer. (Coronas?!) If you are there at lunchtime, especially if you are waiting for service, ordering a few pizzas delivered is a classy touch.

I used to butter up the techs at my dealer with beer. Worked great when I needed a PDI done quickly, or some other favour.

The service advisors and I would sometimes brainstorm on figuring out how some electronic stuff worked on rare options. I can recall that initializing the seats on the Passat was a major hassle. Wrapping the outside temp probe in ice to make sure the heated steeering wheel option worked as it should, etc, etc, etc.
