Default Well, this stuff is always very subjective depending on who you talk to...

I mentioned your comments to GHL and they did not seem to think they were very valid points with this exhaust; hangers are snug and no need for the "nipples" (they'll just make it harder to fit). ? "Press Fit" ? Not sure what you meant. ? "Lack" of support struts. They used the OEM points. But I am not an expert on exhaust construction, so you'll have to direct your question/comments to GHL.

Neuspeed makes good stuff. But some people would disagree as well with their designs/quality. I ahve used a lot of their stuff too. Some think an APR exhaust would be better then Neuspeed. But that's fine; as long as you are happy with it.

Those mufflers look like polished flowmasters. Are they?

Default I think so too. Just have to wait and see....

I saw the picture of them on darin45's car and thought they looked fine. It is just in person and compared to others- they look enormous!

Default Not sure. What is LOUD?

That will be extremely subjective from one person to the next. I have heard some that are amazingly quiet and others that are "loud". I have an HPA GT6 SS Catback on my Beetle which i guess you could say is "loud". It has a nice growl, but the interior dB are definitely higher then stock. Plus, doesn't performance with exhausts = increased noise, since better airflow (not restriction) is the point of them. I don't really know though, since I am not an exhaust expert. But I would think to make it quieter, would take insulation/restriction, to the flow of the air, thus reduce performance???. Dunno

Default Do you mean the twin "resonators" half way down the pipe?

I asked GHL about this comment and he wasn't sure what you meant by "expansion boxes". But again; since performance is the main point of this exhaust. Noise is inevitable since what matters is air flow, not air restriction. Hey, I am just saying what I hear. Trying to understand as well.
