I agree - however it was my excuse to hear it in person...

Default A good excuse.

I don't mind sharing for people interested, as there were some who were waiting for me to get it. I know it is hard to see/hear stuff in person sometimes and can mean a lot to have that experience to help make a decision.

If I get it installed Friday (as planned) I'll be heading up to LA on Saturday.

Default They took cheaper shortcuts. I've seen the NS mufflers cut open - no shortcuts.

You get what you pay for and this looks like a rush job, tell 'em what they want to hear, and get the money from the marks before they wise up. Of course they didn't think they were valid points. WTF do you think they'd say?

One look at all the detail that went into the NS and I was sold. Look at them side by side and you'll see why too.

Default Easy there... that's pretty harsh criticism from someone who hasn't seen the exhaust in

person. I am not trying to convert you from Neuspeed (judging by how protective/defensive you are of them).

But it is funny how some people can get so defensive sometimes. I had someone act quite the opposite of you when comparing Neuspeed exhaust to APR (they said; " Neuspeed is like a mediocre brand,... mid quality stuff"). So you draw your own conclusions from it. I know Neuspeed products. I have used many of them in my cars over the years. And yes, they make some good stuff.

I have an HPA GT6 Exhaust and have seen some others (like Neuspeed) and they all look pretty good for the most part. This GHL exhaust doesn't look rushed to me. I cannot see how one could rush this type of weld/construction. The overall finish is quite beautiful, everything is very clean, connections fit,... etc, etc. So I guess I would have to have you educate me on those details in person, and with those specific comparisons to really understand your points.

And that is too easy of a cop out to say; <i>"WTF would they say..."</i>. Every manufacturer is going to stand behind their product regardless of negative comments addressed to them.

Default I've seen the pictures. GHL shortcutted big time on the outside so...

...only leaves one to be worried about what you can't see. The nipples on the hangers are are not an afterthought. Using press fittings instead of ground and bolt together joints is just a low end shortcut. The GHL support braces are lightweight, insufficient, and infrequent. Seriously, take a look at NS pictures and you'll see the immediate difference. Or take a look at the APR pictures. Much more attention to detail.

As to the WTF cop out: You that easy to con?

You sound like someone trying to justify a bad decision by keeping their eyes closed. It's called buyer's remorse.

Default Yeah, that's it: easy to con and in denial... Thanks for being so pleasant.
