GIACC Chip? is it worth it

found a Giacc chip for my Audi A4 1.8, it will give me 30+ hp and 50+ ft.lbs. of torque, total cost is $495.00, is it worth it? please let me know, thanks

you really are not driving an A4 1.8 motor UNTIL it's chipped. Wimpy Americans! 170 bhp. I fart in your general direction!did it on both my 1.8t's. but you may want to consider the new programming for the bigger injectors, if you are in the position to shell out the coin ~ 300$ for the injectors (TT).

functioning. The larger injectors allow them to flow at a lower duty cycle and provide enough fuel for high rpm driving without the worry fuel starvation. cheers! Mike
