leaking coolant like a siv, its near the front of the block (quattro) and if i drive for 30 min by the time i reach my destination my coolant is bone dry.. i havent been able to tell for sure if its just leaking when the car is running or not (but it seems like it could be just when its running) tomorrow i will know more since i will fill it up and let it sit all day then see the results. any ideas on what could be leaking? aux pump? water pump? i will be putting the car up to see if i can trace the leak btw

3.0 or 1.8T? If 1.8T, is it coming from beneath the timing belt cover or to the right of the block at front?

(1.8t) yeah there was condensation underneath the timing belt cover when i pulled it off, the coolant was dry after sitting all day and i just put distilled water in and ran it and same thing, its leaking real bad, drippin down right by the drain plug, so tomorrow i will try to trace it back the best i can and i will add photos as well so u can see the leak

Don't run the engine cause if the wp stops you destroy it. And if you have to do the wp you might as well do the tensioner and tb and thermostat
