Just for your info., the MAHA is the official dyno utilized by the German DTM race series, which is
backed and accepted by the European participants such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Opel.
So, from what your saying the whole DTM race series and the manufacturers are all wrong in calculating horsepower.

I think we are saying essentially the same thing
You are saying that dyno #1 = 25% DTL and in dyno #2 = 20% DTL. That makes sense.
People who calculate the DTL % based on one dyno and use that same factor for a second dyno, that's what I take issue with. It is not the same percentage, it changes, and that's what you've said here.
What I was saying was rather than using % DTL, use the absolute number. If you lose 50 HP because of drivetrain, you will continue to lose 50HP because of drivetrain after you mod the engine (superchargers notwithstanding). Add a chip to the car, your DTL does not increase, it remains the same.
