I obviously knew that I wasn't going to be any competition for him but I had to see how fast those things are. It's very rare that I see one so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. **First off I know, don't race on public roads and all that **** so don't come and preach to me please.** Well I'm driving home from work last night and I see some different tail lights ahead of me. I couldn't id them from the distance I was at so I sped up and realized it was an NSX. A black NSX with a very sweet sounding exhaust system. I pass him at like 80 and slow down a couple cars lengths ahead of him to see if he's gonna run. We get about a mile down the road and he guns it. He caught me off guard cause he waited so long so I downshift (way too late) and catch up to him once he's already slowed down. We're crusing at 90 and I pull out to pass him in 4th. I get about 2 cars ahead and he punches it again. That thing was fast!!!! He completely left me like I was standing still. All I could think was dammit I need an S4! I wonder how an S4 would fare against one of these.

In other words, it's a completely different car than ours. If you want to go fast in a straight line, go for an Evo or STi with mods =P. Then we're talking like under 5s to 60. If you want an Audi, keep your car. =) Unless you got spare change to upgrade to an S4, I wouldnt ditch my car just to go a second faster to 60 in the same car. Heck, I wouldnt even spare the 5k (and time)to get a supercharger.
If you want an exotic Japanese sports car, get the NSX.

track. I think curb weight is only something like 2700lbs bc of its aluminum-alloy chassis.

I ran with one on the West Side hwy In NYC back when I had my B5 with stage 3. No contest. Like most Japanese cars, Its a screamer. All the horsepower is in the upper RPM band....torque is weak sauce. Car isnt all that light either. Stock S4 would run this car down......A B6 w/ ko4 might be trouble as well......just my 2cents. Thanks
