Default Got K04 on my CVT

Just got Eurocodetuning's K04 kit(revo software) along with their FMIC on my CVT yesterday. Im also running neuspeed exhaust. Car runs much faster than with just chip/exhaust. Everything seems to be running well. Car pulls hard now, especially at higher speeds compared to just chip.

The K04 takes a bit longer to spool up than the K03 it seems, but when it kicks in it's much more powerful and can hold boost for longer.

Only downside I have noticed so far is that my gas mileage went down the crapper.

Overall I am very happy with it! =)

Default Do the shifts seem a little sloppy?

I've noticed with my tiptronic stage 1+ that some shifts (depending on the rpms) seem to slip. But for the most part it drives grate. Good luck to you.

Yea im also running injectors. Shifts seem to be exactly the same as before, not sloppy at all.

I think the programing was tuned down very slightly just for precaution. However I have been hearing that CVT has an automatic shutoff if the torque lvl's exceed a certain amount to prevent dmg to the tranny.

Default If you had David do it...

...he may have installed the REVO code for the BEX 190 HP engine. It gets right up there to just before the CVT would cut off the fuel. Instead of the usual peak you get a nice, broad plateau of power. Very nice, very smooth.

I see a tranny conversion in your future.

Default Nah, won't happen. The CVT will cut the fuel and, besides, the...

...wheels always break loose.
