Damm, that's almost a hundred bucks in upgrades I've done in just this past month (the other was the center console knee pad from Marlin Enterprises).
This should now turn out to be the first car I've had in years where I didn't have to buy a new headlight or foglight assembly as a result of rocks hitting the lenses.

them myself and really thought I screwed it up...several bubbles, fog and what looked like a fingerprint under the film. But after about 3 months all the bubbles and blemishes disappeared and you can't even tell the clear film is there. Film cost $45 from Custom Protex Clearbras.

and get real angry at myself if the project doesn't come out perfect.
After reading the installation instructions it sounded too much like hanging wallpaper. Use heat (but not too much heat). Use a water/alcahol mix (but be careful to ...). Best to use our special tools (additional cost), Be careful not to (fingerprints, etc.). Thus I decided to give $25 to someone who has a lot of practice and has all the right tools and stuff.
They took about an hour doing it and when they were through there was just a slight hint of fogginess in a couple of places which they said would evaproate away within a week (quicker if I drive with my lights on).
It's kind of wierd paying $70 for something that you can't even see. I'll probably never even know whether it worked as advertised or not. When I've broken the lenses in the past, I never even knew it happened until I, or someone else just happened to look down only to discover those expensive little surprises.

On the other hand, you know if you have them and you wait, when you're ready to install them it'll be too late ... Isn't that one of Murphy's laws.

really frustrating putting them on, though worked out OK in the end. No way would I ever, ever attempt putting the clear bra on by myself.
