Default 4 (better pictures), leaning towards 2 though...

I really like the whole blackout theme, and the mirrors are a step in the opposite direction from that

Default Yeah. I really thought I would like them. The whole forum suggested that I get the matte ones :-(

I'm sad now :-(((

Default

4, then 2 - seems contrary to your blackout efforts?

Default I feel your disappointment, but all is not lost. It was a worthy try-out, a bit of new knowledge....

gained. I'm sure you can sell them, right?

Default Of course. But I was so looking forward to putting them on :-(((

I've looked up Bolo and chrome mirrors work really well for him. But he does have chrome ecodes to balance out the look. I don't think I could pull of chrome mirrors without adding some chrome elsewhere (that's something I don't want to do).

Hope he doesn't mind me fishing in his pic poster.

Default Yes we do. I'll take better pics later on, but so far no one likes the new mod :-(

Unfortunately me included :-(

Default After seeing MB's mirrors I really wanted to add some brightness to my car.

Mission failed :-(

Default Plus add the dissapointment to the fact that my stock housings do not have any tabs left...

so I'm unsure if I can even put them back on.

I'm extremely sad :-(((((((((((((((

It's not even the money, but the fact that I was proud of this mod considering that it was one of the very few I actually installed myself.

Default Yes, it's a let down for sure. But if you are determined not to add some chrome highlights to....

balance out the mirror housings, then that becomes a frustrating dilemma. If you are committed to the pure black out, it limits your options. See how you feel about the mirror covers after you have some time to get used to the new look, you might get some ideas about if or how you can accommodate the contrast with the black-out scheme.
