That sir is an insult <slap>. We duel at dawn ; )
As to your comments about "scavenging" for separate parts, or "cheaper" ones, with the K04 kit; I would not want a kit like that, which doesn't come with some kind of warranty as a whole upgrade kit, in case parts, or the whole of it, causes damage to the engine, or is defective in some way. With out the kit being bought as a "kit" and warrantied from the manufacturer/tuner, there can be more repercussions with trying to deal with any issues from buying the parts from different sources and finding fault/blame, as opposed to buying the whole kit from one tuner/dealer. Each of those parts may have their own warranty, but try resolving any problems that suddenly occur after installing all of them and see who is going to be willing to accept responsibility. I'm paying for that bit of extra security when I buy an engine upgrade as a whole package from a tuner like MTM. And it's not a whole lot more then a competitive tuners Stage 1+ (like APR). I obviously have to pay the price for the Euro "TUV" tuner, but I'm mwilling to accept that (we already saw what a difference it made with the exhaust system, which BTW; whatever happened with yours? I thought you were having similar problems as I did).
So, each person has to deal with their aftermarket upgrades in their own way, and for me, right now, going with MTM's Stage 2 makes good sense. I don't have much respect for GIAC, APR, REVO,...etc., so I have to make my choice from those I do; MTM, AMS, Sportec and maybe Neuspeed. I had entertained the idea of their K04 kit though (E05 as well), but a K04 wasn't what I wanted to have as my "big" turbo. We'll see though. For now, I chose MTM because of their reputation for quality and reliability. The numbers are good too. Neuspeed is more conservative and I wasn't impressed by their numbers (including a MAHA dyno run with their 1.5). I have used their products a lot in the past, but always felt they were sort of "middle-of-the-road" with performance and some parts. Always pretty cheap prices too. Maybe that is changing, becuase I have heard rumors of a "big" turbo kit being programmed by them. Time will tell.
And I can always upgrade to MTM's bigger kit (Stage 4, when and if it comes out), or sell the Stage 2 (since people repsect the MTM name). All is good.

I agree with lot of the points you made and the tuners of your choice. As I said just seems like a lot of money for a temporary situation. Because if your thinking about upgrading now to a bigger turbo you will end up getting one
yes Neuspeed is coming out with the Super K04, should be out soon. Check out their website, the duno numbers are impressive. As far as my APR exhaust, Im still having problems with it. Its my second one and its a POS. No offense to anyone reading this, Im done with APR.
