These are BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWs, which are classified by Tire Rack as an "Ultra-High Performance" Tire, which is one step down from "Max Performance." They are V-Rated, and I got them from Tire Rack for $149 each in the stock sport pack size. I was looking for something that would grip very well, have excellent wet and dry handling, and that would last a decent but not exceptional length of time. Also, I didn't want to break the bank. Price rules out S-03s (Although we did just put them on the Boxster, and they are phenomenal). Wear rules out the Kumho MXs. It came down to the g-Forces or Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s, of which Tire Rack is out of stock. So it was the g-Forces (I need them for a track day on Monday). I had them mounted and balanced this morning, and put about 300 miles on them today. So far, I am VERY pleased. They grip SO much more than the worn OEM Michelins. If I had to quantify it, I'd say the Michelin Pilot Primacies were a 7 and these are a 9 in outright grip. Turn in is excellent, and they ride smoothly and quietly so far. I'll be sure to post how the track day goes- It'll be my first track outing since the exhaust, sway bar, and Hawk HP+ pads.

Excellent grip in the dry, about average in the wet. The tire has incredibly stiff sidewalls (probably you noticed as the guys mounting it probably had a really difficult time getting it to seat.) You'll want to watch your tire pressures and will most likely need to increase pressure to make sure you're wearing the tire evenly.
As for quietness... they're pretty quiet when new. They get incredibly noises as they wear down. The KDWS tires (for Dry, Wet and Snow) I have on my '97 A4 2.8Q have been phenomenal and are quieter than the KDW. You do give-up ultimate grip in the dry... but the difference in grip is surprisingly small.
