Stupid cop came and said that he pulled me over because my Xenon lights looked defective because they were a "weird color". I explained to him that they were Xenon and autoleveling so the might move a bit when I go over bumps. Then he said "Oh, and you were speeding a bit..." Then blurts out, how much have you had to drink? I say 1 beer about 2 hours ago and he said "Yeah, ok. Come to my car for a minute." Gives me a breath test, shows me the reading... 000 Go figure. Then begins to give me a warning for my 4 MPH over and a lecture about my lights. I was getting annoyed and told him he should sit in the car with the lights on to see that they are not purple and that they provide excellent visibility. He never even looked at the insurance or registration. What a *****, just looking to screw with people. When he finished with me he sped off before I could even get back to my car and by the time I got in my car and drove off he had someone else pulled over. My date kept going on about what an a$$hole he was.
Just had to vent a bit, I know that someone else here must have been pulled over for their Xenons before and could relate.
Thanks for listening.

I would have made a note about his badge number and name so that you could file a complaint with his department. There was an officer in my area that was continually pulling people over with lame excuses (driving left of center, bad judgement calls, etc.), then giving them a hard time. She only lasted about two months before she disappeared from the streets, probably due to numerous complaints.

better job.
There are the real cops IMO. that are there, making the streets safer by arresting crack dealers and catching murderers. and don't get me wrong, cause those are some of the people i have so so much respect for.
then you have the "power-trip" cops that pull over people like my dad with nice cars just to get a look at the car and the interior. I hate these cops, and its just sad that this utterly useless cops give cops in general a bad name. makes me truely mad ... but life will go on

Last time I asked for a badge number, I almost got the crap beat out of me and then they arrested me and took me to county for 16 hours.
Court was a wild scene. About 8 troopers filed in. The judge's first words? What did you do that required 8 troopers attention? I only got out of that through a misunderstanding on the judge's part that I was happy to allow to pass.
Cops are high school football players that can't find any girls to rape or dudes to whoop-up on. They suck.
I do feel for them- low pay, people might try to shoot them, but in my general experience, they suck.
Never admit to any alcohol! Don't drink and drive either, but if you had a beer a couple of hours ago with your meal. You did not have anything to drink. Don't even go there. They almost have to arrest you because if you hit somebody after telling the cop you had a drink, it's the cop's ***.
My blood pressure rises just thinking of all my horrible cop experiences.

I'm dead against drinking and driving... but if you've had a drink with a meal a few hours before driving then you really haven't been drinking.
