Got wiper caps/nuts off... now wiper arms impossible to remove!
STFA already... tried various methods. At this point I don't want to break or bend anything.
Just wondering what you're tried and true methods are for removing the wiper arms?

You just wiggle it to break the seat loose
trust me you will be hard pressed to actually break the arm or ruin the spline.
hold the arm with both hands (make sure you do not under any circumstance let the arm snap down on the windshield without the blade attached) and wiggle the arm up/down with some force.
its at a funny angle b/c of the hinge, but you need to get it unseated and it pops right off.

An air chisel is your friend...
I was just doing the same thing on my car the otehr day. The fvucking things wouldn't dome off. So I grabed my air chisel, put the round pointed bit in it and positioned it directly in the center of the stud. I had the nut threaded on part way on the stud so that it would help corral the chisel in case it wanted to slip off. Also, if I managed to bugger the threads the nut would help reform them when I removed it. Got everything positioned just right, held the wiper arm with one hand and gave the chisel a quick blip. That wiper arm just about lept off the stud in under 1 second. Air tools ROCK!
