Default H&R cup kit

are the cup kits like coilovers without the ability to change the ride height? hows the drop and hows the ride?

Can't comment on ride but drop is 2.0 Front/1.7 rear. And a cup kit is just a carefully matched spring/shock set...basically non adjustable coilovers.

A cupkit is just a matched spring/shock combination. The front struts already ARE coilover type.

The ride height is NOT adjustable on the H&R Cup Kit. Vogtland for example offers a kit that includes adjustable dampening, but not ride height.

Adjustable coilover kits have variable adjustable height, and some include adjustable dampening. These are considerably different, and considerably more expensive.
