h&r vs koni coilovers
I am debating between installing H&R or Koni coilovers, I like the idea of adjustability on the Koni's vs non adjustable H&R's for my 03 A4 1.8T. I will take the car to the track about 4-5 times a year and would like to be able to adjust for track vs street, would appreciate any advice.

I got the H&R's, here's the deal...
I've been an H&R user for many years and always been very happy with quality and ride of their products, from my first set of springs to my last set of coilovers. When I bought my Audi, the obvious choice was H&R coilovers.
I was however unaware that H&R had a problem with the rear perch, apparently there was an error in the machining and the collar separates from the sleeve on the perch. I was a victim of a faulty perch, and am happy to say that H&R sent me new perches that have been redesigned and I must say, it is a much nicer, burlier piece. They replaced mine promptly and I am once again very happy with my suspension. My suggestion would be to make sure you tell your supplier you want the new perches, which are black alloy, the faulty ones are the pewter ones that are the same color as the bottom part of the adjuster.
If you already have these H&R's in your car, I would call H&R and tell them you want the new ones.
