Had my exhaust specialist evaluate the system on the 3.0 and was told that glasspacks would probably
drop torque and increase power a little in the high end of the tach to such a degree that it would affect drivability around town. Sticking with the stock system on the 3.0 is the plan now in order to preserve the low end torque that only a restrictive stock system can give.

That sounds weird.
The 3.0 fatty exhaust i put on my 1.8T VW did wonders for around town driving. Why not get an APR exhaust or other that is designed specifically for our cars?
