Default Has anybody here done a custom subwoofer/amplifier installation?

I'm looking to flush a couple woofers into the side of the trunk, and was just hoping for some suggestions.

Default My friend had a crazy setup when he had his B6....

way overdone for my taste, but the sound quality was amazing.

2nd, looks tacky as hell, and I'd doubt it sounds good relative to $$ spent

Default i was wondering bout the rear passenger if they smack into those headrest screens

i wanted to put one in for the kid, but in a heavy accident would it be possible to have that drivers headrest screen implanted into the face of the person watching it (backseat)?

Default I think it depends how tall the backseat passenger is...

Because when they go forward, it will be on an angle, so their head would hit the seat lower than where their head is parrallel to it. It sounds complicated and would be much easier with a picture, but I think the shorter the backseat passenger, the better

Default Re: Has anybody here done a custom subwoofer/amplifier installation?

I've had a single L7 kicker 12" installed, with a Kicker 500 x1 mono amp. The 04' series.

It sounds phenominal. I didn't change my headunit, using factory equipment.

Got it installed at a local car/home audio place (Tweeter)

Default I was going to do custom side enclosures, but it wasn't worth it IMHO

So what i did was put an infinity bass link passive membrane enclosed powered 10" woofer on each side behind the carpet panels. Stealth, and sounds great. Running MB Quart with Kenwood up front and it hangs just fine.
