removed their running light bulbs? I know this is the b6 forum, but I think the location fo the running lights are similar and I think that you guys probably have more experience at changing bulbs. I have halogen lights and have upgraded my high beams and low beams to silverstars which are basically pure white. Now I want to upgrade my running lights just simply for cosmetic purposes because the running lights do not actually provide any usable light. However, I tried to take them out this morning to see what type of bulb it is and I was unably to remove it. The other lights had liarge plugs that I could pull on to snap out the bulbs. This one has a small orange cap that I really can't get a good grip on. I didn't try pulling on the wires because I didn't want to break anything. Can someone who is a little bit more mechanically inclined than me try to remove their running lights and tell me how they did it. I would greatly appreciate it. O yea, and heres a pic of the new bulbs.

Default If you want to chance it with your local laws...

(assuming you are talking about the orange bulb in the corner) you could go to a single filament bulb instead of the dual filament. Then the bulb will only light up when signaling a turn or when hazard lights are on.

I thought of replacing my corners with white LEDs, but as single filament, it would never pass safety inspection. Went with the Titanium silver bulb instead, which lights up orange, but is silver when lights are off.

By running lights I mean the little bulbs that are in the same reflector as the halogen high beams. I don't know if they're in the b6 or not but they turn on with the signals on the first light setting below low beams. If you look in the pic the the halogen lights that are close to the grill. I am not talking about fog lights. As far as the bulbs they are sylvania silverstars. I got them at autozone for like $20 each. Their still is a yellowish tint to the lights when you look at them straight on because of the "running light" bulbs i havent changed yet.
