Has anyone attempted the 3.0 snub mount install? I helped a friend a long time ago do a B5 2.8

install and it wasn't fun. Just wondering if anyone has done the install on a 3.0 and can provide any pointers. What was the time to install and was there a noticable reduction in engine "buck" while shifting?
BTW:
Neuspeed/Greedspeed and APR both sell snub mounts for the 3.0.

Neuspeed doesn't list it under the 3.0 Engine mods - only on 1.8 (although greedspeed lists it for both 1.8 and 3.0).
Also - its probably less noticable on with a tip.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/394987.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/394987.phtml</a</li></ul>

with the cold weather. I've been talking with Jeremy at APR, and it looks like I'll need to uninstall the snub, shave it so it's not a tight fit (needs to rotate), and then re-install.

it was 28 degrees yesterday. Just took it out again this morning (11:00 a.m. - 34 deg), and at idle, the car is noticeably active.
When we did the install, it was 60+ degrees as well as when I did yy test drive again on Sunday.
Apparently the mount needs to rotate - such that if it's a perfect fit, it will need to be shaved down to allow room for movement. Does this sound right?
Everything else on the install went smoothly.
