Default Has anyone been successful getting Audi to make payment(s)?

I though I remember seeing someone on this board that had gotten AoA to make a monthly payment to compensate for loss of use with regard to the coil situation. My car has been at the dealership about 40-50 days, and I was wondering if it would be worth trying to get them to suck up a payment or 2. BTW, it's financed, not leased, if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

Can't hurt to give AoA a call. Being in the shop that long should qualify for a month or two.

It's now probably a lemon under your state law. You may be entitled to much more, if it's an avenue you want to pursue.

Default Being financed, IMO, will hurt your case

If you're talking about a leased car, you are paying for the use of the car. If you finance, you will still have equity in the car. If the car has been in the shop for that long, it's most likely a lemon. Couldn't hurt to try though...

Default i can't imagine having my car in the shop for more than a few days.

i think they only take a few days to produce the car itself? right?

Have you been driving a loaner/rental? If so, are you paying for it, or the dealer/AoA?

That's is a good point. You would get full purchase price refunded to you.

Default I am working on it......

my A4 has only been at the service department for 2 days but I called AoA today and told them what I thought. The guy on the phone was very understanding. He asked me what I wanted. I said I don't know, what have you been doing for everyone else? I then said a months car payment would be nice. I leased the car. He gave me a case number and said someone would get back to me. I was told by my dealership that the car would be there for at least two weeks. I was given a Volvo V70 wagon for a loaner. Nice car but it sucks in the snow (like every other non AWD car!) I don't have to pay a dime for it. Here is what I told AoA. 1) If I wanted to drive a Volvo I would have bought one, 2) I just paid $700 for snow tires and install and it is snowing out here, 3) This is the second VW/Audi car I have had in the past two years that has given me problems. It felt good to vent, now let's see what happens........
