Has anyone considered painting their lowers in a complimentary/contrasting color? (more)

Out of curiosity and boredom, I was thinking about that...
Two-tone paint schemes are kind of tacky these days (even Lexus doesn't seem to be doing it as much as they used to
, but I was thinking that if having the lowers body-colored can make the car look chubby and such, maybe a complimenting or contrasting color would help and still make them look better than grey plastic.
Perhaps a darker metallic grey for Denim Blue or Amulet Red (heck, just the clearcoat and depth along would make it look better than the flat grey).

It would look better if actually done though, because the clearcoat on it would reflect more than my attempt in photoshop.
