Has anyone had a hard time deciding between the 1.8t and the 3.0?

Default You had better ask the "wife" first!

The guy I got to co-pilot for me this past weekend now wants to convince his wife that the S4 is a perfect replacement for their "older" car (even though he's a BMW fan). He's asked me to give his wife a demonstration (I suggested that his plot might backfire on him, and that he should rethink his strategy a little before proceeding).

Anyway, the car is always available to you... :-)

Default Nope..

Got the 1.8T, had a 3.0 for a week while it was in for service..

3.0 is nice, but makes it kind of a grandma feeling car.

My 1.8T is broken in nice now, and just sounds/feels better to me (Came from high revving ricers though), plus I just got 34 mpg on a 70 mile trip!

Once again: Buy the best you can afford. Without question if you can afford the 3.0 - get it.
