I would appreciate it if you could, because the 1.8T/VR6 exhausts are the same.

Default still different...heres two pictures... the 1.8t only has one outlet, where as the v6 is a true dual

exhaust system, so it has two pipes by the engine... v6 has two different headers, where as the 4 cylinder only has one, so thats why theyre different... you can see for yourself here...

Heres the 1.8t

And heres the 3.0 V6

hope this helps!

Default part numbers for exhaust are ... *EDITED again*

1.8T:
Catalyst: 8E0 131 089 DX
Downpipe: 8E0 253 301 AN
Center Resonator: 8E0 253 409 AB
R/L Rear Muffler: 8E0 253 609 BT/BN

3.0:
R/L Downpipe/Catalyst: 8E0 254 550 BX/PX
Center Resonator: 8E0 253 409 AJ
R/L Rear Muffler: 8E0 253 609 CA/BP

I stand (somewhat corrected). Perhaps its because I'm looking at the ETOS parts manual and not the ETKA (ETOS is all-non North American and ETKA is North American). But from what it looks like.. on the 3.0 the cat is AFTER the downpipe, whereas on the 1.8T the cat is BEFORE the downpipe.

*EDITED* Also the 3.0 is a true dual exhaust system (2 cats) -> (1 center resonator) -> (2 rear mufflers). the 1.8T is a fake dual exhaust (1 cat) -> (1 center resonator) -> (2 rear mufflers)

Default i think we have a misunderstanding of where the cat is...

in a turbo its bolted right to your turbo, so catback includes downpipe...

ahh.. I didn't realize the 3.0 was a true dual exhaust. Let me update my part #s then.
